The expertise, workmanship, professionalism, support and attention to detail of Dr Amit Kotecha were all astounding and I cannot overrate the treatment and care I received. It was the most incredible experience of dentistry I have had (and, unfortunately for me, I have had considerable dentistry over the years - culminating in the need for this all-on-four procedure for my top jaw). I will need major implant/rebuilding work on my bottom jaw next and I am now actually looking forward to it! From start to finish it was clear that Amit was only interested in the very best result, using the best and highest quality equipment and lab work available. Amit has a tremendous manner – highly supportive and friendly - and, coupled with his huge experience over thousands of major procedures, he is a true master of his profession. Such was the personal care provided, on top of everything else, I had Amit's personal mobile number to contact him directly 24/7 (including all over Christmas!) should I have any issues or worries whatsoever. Amazing. The finished job is incredible. My new teeth look great and look natural. They also feel great and I have had no issues with eating or pronunciation from the moment they were fitted. I am extremely pleased and amazed by the result and considering the amount of time, effort, care and work that has gone in – from the best in the business - the overall cost was good value and money well spent. All the staff at C.A.R.E Dental Leicester were very helpful and friendly with particular thanks to Alex for her help and in ensuring I was always fully informed on progress and timings over the 6 months to complete the project. I really could not recommend Amit and his team enough.

How would I rate Care Dental? Well, quite frankly a million stars would never be enough. My name is Angela and I am 58 years old and I have had a dental phobia since an awful experience when I was 16 that resulted in me not being physically able to walk into a dental surgery. I won't go into the build up of what went before but, for over a month, I'd had excruciating toothache which became unbearably painful. I emailed Care Dental on a Friday (a day which they are closed) and very shortly afterwards I received a call from Mrs Dee Kotecha who was just lovely. She gently talked me through things as I was sobbing down the phone about how terrified I was. She said that Dr Amit Kotecha would see me out of hours and assured me of how good he was with nervous patients and that she would be there to support me also. How I got through the door, I don't know, but true to their word the support was amazing. Dee held my hand whilst Amit immediately discovered 2 cracks in my tooth. He prescribed antibiotics for the infection and with their support I managed to book a second appointment. My plan had been to get help and not return due to my phobia but Amit and Dee gave me the hope that I could return. I knew that my teeth were in very poor shape and after meeting Amit and Dee it felt like it was now or never to see how things really were. It'd take too many words to recount all of the details but after x-rays and check-ups it was confirmed that I had a considerable amount of bone loss in my jaw (hence my teeth being loose) and this would only get worse without action. I was beyond devastated but through Amit's care, kindness and patience I was able to move forwards. He saw me for weeks and carefully took me through my options and built trust between us whilst I was a sobbing wreck. Dr Kotecha was very understanding and allowed me to get to know his team (all of whom are very supportive) in order to ease my mind. Long story short, I decided to go all in and have all of my teeth replaced with All On 6 dental implants. I went in on April 10th and Amit and his team got me through this massive procedure. Unbelievably, I had a full set of temporary replacements from Day 1. The joy and relief of no longer having loose teeth and awful pain was amazing. I followed Amit's instructions and didn’t suffer any bruising or swelling. How fantastic is that! Amit gave me his phone number and checked on me frequently to make sure all was well. I cannot stress enough how life changing this has been for me. Amit and his team are just wonderful and they made me feel like their only patient with how caring and friendly they were. I have contacted Amit multiple times with what I have thought of as trivial questions and he has never been anything other that kind and supportive whilst putting my mind at rest. I feel like I have been supported by everyone at Care Dental and wish to say a massive thank you to Alex, Jenny, Yaz, Dee (whom I can never thank enough for helping me get through the door for the very first time) and ultimately Amit for his incredible work and support. Throughout all of this, Amit has been beyond incredible. He has shown that he is an absolute expert in his field and has been so lovely whilst doing it. What a journey this has been but it was oh so worth it! I'm now pain free, have beautiful teeth and can walk into a Dental Surgery on my own (Not that I would go anywhere other than Care Dental!). I am not exaggerating when I say that this has been completely life changing for me. I can never rate Care Dental high enough and, if you look back to the beginning of this review, you'll see why even a million stars wouldn't come close. Had an implant when i first became a patient which was a really good experience. Fell off a ladder and smashed front tooth in on a weekend. Phoned up and got an appointment immediately. Dr Kotecha quickly assessed the situation and gave me the options before sorting my tooth out there and then. All staff always friendly, professional and up front with a personal touch. I can really recommend them as a good dentist is hard to find!

I have been terrified of the dentist since a young age and this left me needing a LOT of work on my teeth. Earlier in the Autumn I started to have a lot of pain in 1 particular tooth - I visited a couple of emergency dentists and they both advised that due to my obvious anxiety I was best off looking for a dentist that offered sedation. After doing some research I was drawn to C.A.R.E. Dental firstly due to the website - the information on there regarding sedation was very informative. This gave me the confidence to contact the surgery. On my first contact I was given amazing encouragement and reassurance by both Alex and Jenny and this again gave me the confidence to make an appointment. My first conversation with Dr Kotecha pretty much set my mind at ease (as much as you can be at ease when sitting in a dentist's chair) - especially being told that all the problems in my mouth could be fixed in 1 day. I was given a clear treatment plan, everything was explained to me clearly and I left the surgery feeling better than I ever did about going to the dentist. I opted to have all of my treatment with C.A.R.E. Due to the complexity of the issues with my teeth I ended up needing 2 sessions of sedation at around 4-hours each - but both sessions were done within 5-days of each other to ensure I was not anxious for any longer than I needed to be. Again, everything was explained clearly on the days of the sedation. I do not remember anything from the procedures themselves. I have since been back as it is now over 2-weeks since my procedures and I am feeling so much more confident about going to the dentist - I even allowed Dr Kotecha to scale and polish my teeth and remove the 2 stitches I had in my mouth - this is something I would never have done 8-weeks ago. I will not lie and say my fear of the dentist has gone - it hasn't completely. However, I feel 10x better than I ever have and have already made another appointment, again, something I would never have done before. I cannot speak any higher of Dr Kotecha and his entire team at C.A.R.E, including the ladies from Cheshire who came for the sedation procedures. I was never made to feel that my fear of the dentist was silly - from the first minute I made contact with the surgery it was made clear to me that all they wanted to do was help. And on the times I did get teary due to my fear I was treated with kindness, patience and reassurance. If you are scared of the dentist then I highly recommend you contact the team at C.A.R.E. Dental

I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr Kotecha and his team at Care dental, I feel better about myself and my confidence has grown immensely. It all started a few years ago when an accident at work damaged my front teeth and I had to have them removed. This caused a huge amount of problems to my other remaining teeth and I have been having numerous problems which was continually getting worse. I have been to see numerous dentists over the past 2 years as I felt extremely under confident and wanted to feel better in myself, all I got offered however was a denture which constantly caused discomfort and did not fit correctly . I didn't feel as if the dentist's I had been to see had my best interests at heart and I was constantly experiencing problems. This has had a detrimental effect on my self esteem and I felt at rock bottom until Dr Kotecha agreed to help me. He offered me several different treatment options and I decided to go ahead with the bridgework on my upper jaw. The team at Care dental made me feel at ease and I have been today to have my bridgework fitted and I cannot begin to explain how exstatic I am with the work and how much of a difference it has made to my life. For anybody who has ever experienced these issues will understand where I am coming from. I would just like to say how grateful I am to you all and I highly recommend your practice and your team. I visited C.A.R.E. Dental Surgery due to a concern that I had with an existing temporary crown and what appeared to be an abscess above it. My dental hygiene has been poor for far too long and I was quite embarrassed actually to go, but I'd put things off for far too long. The care I have received throughout the extensive work required has been exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. Dr Amit Kotecha is an extremely skilled practitioner and talked me through each and every step as I was been treated, putting my mind at ease and answering any questions that I put his way. The result I have now, is a healthier mouth, a smile that I'm actually proud of and most of all I'm pain free whilst eating and drinking. I always say the same thing to my children and that is 'look after your teeth kids'.....my advice if you need to have dentistry work is don't hesitate to head over to C.A.R.E Dental Surgery in Leicester Forest East. You'll be in exceptional hands. I can't recommend them highly enough.
